🔗 Social links

Type fix and a link and Vaqun turns an X, TikTok, Instagram or Reddit post into a card: the author, the text, a quoted post, the stats, and the photos or video uploaded right inside it, so they play in Discord.

How to use it

• fix <link>, no prefix needed: fix https://x.com/.... Your message is replaced by the card when Vaqun can manage messages in that channel; otherwise the card replies to you. Anything after the link is ignored.
• Reply with just fix to a message that has a link: the card answers that message.
• .fix <link> (your server's prefix) and /fix link: work too.

"fix" has to be the first word and the link the very next one, so a sentence like "can you fix this https://..." never triggers it. Server admins can turn the prefix-less form off in the dashboard's General settings (.fix and /fix keep working), and Command access rules for /fix apply to every form.

Short and share links work too (vm.tiktok.com, Reddit's /s/ links, Instagram's /share/). One link per command: the first supported one.

Good to know

• Media is downloaded only for the card and deleted right after. A video that doesn't fit the server's upload limit is compressed; if it still doesn't fit, the card shows its still frame and a button to watch it on the platform. Videos over 3 minutes are never downloaded.
• Sensitive posts (Reddit NSFW, X sensitive media) only show in age-restricted channels, blurred as spoilers.
• Instagram works for public posts and reels. Private posts, and anything that needs an account to see, can't be shown. Photo posts may come without their caption.
• Each person can fix a link every 15 seconds.
