Vaqun Log in

🔗 Invite tracker

See who invited whom, how many of the people they brought stayed, and reward your best inviters with roles.

Turn it on

On the dashboard, Members → Invite tracker → Settings: switch it on and pick a channel for the join log (and the leave log, if you want one). Vaqun needs the Manage Server permission to see your server's invites; the Settings tab tells you if it's missing.

Vaqun counts from the moment you turn it on ("tracking since"). Joins from before can't be attributed. To give people credit for what they did before, Import current invites (once) gives each person their invites' current use counts as an adjustment. It's an estimate: Discord only keeps how many times each invite was used, not who stayed. You can undo it.

How Vaqun knows who invited someone

Discord doesn't say which invite a member used. Vaqun keeps each invite's use count and, when someone joins, looks at which one went up. That's reliable most of the time, and honest when it isn't:

  • If two invites are used at the very same moment, Vaqun can't tell which member used which: both joins are recorded as unknown, never guessed.
  • Joins through Server Discovery, while Vaqun was offline, or when Vaqun can't see invites are unknown too.
  • A one-time invite that gets used up still counts: Vaqun remembers it was one use from its limit.
  • Your vanity URL counts as the vanity URL (nobody gets the credit).
  • A bot added to the server counts for whoever added it, only if you turn on Count bots.

What the numbers mean

Every member someone invited is exactly one of:

  • Still here: in the server, not fake.
  • Left: joined and left.
  • Fake: an account younger than 7 days when it joined, or one that left within 10 minutes. You can change both numbers, or set them to 0 to turn them off.

Invites = still here + bonus. Joins = still here + left + fake. Bonus is what staff add or take away by hand. Nobody counts for themselves.

When someone leaves and comes back, they count once by default: coming back through the same person brings the original back; through someone else doesn't count again. You can choose to count every join instead.

Commands

For everyone: - /invites [user] (or .inv): someone's invites, who invited them, and how many more until the next reward. - /inviter user: who invited a member, through which invite and when. - /invited [user]: the members someone invited, and whether they stayed. - /invite-leaderboard [period] (or .invlb): the top inviters, all time or the last 30 or 7 days.

For staff (Manage Server by default; you can change it in Command access): - /invite-create [name] [channel] [max-uses] [expires]: a new invite with a name, like youtube, so its joins show under that name. - /invite-list, /invite-info code, /invite-label code name, /invite-delete code. - /invite-bonus-add user amount [reason] and /invite-bonus-remove user amount [reason]. - /invite-reset user and /invite-reset-all: start counts again from zero. Nothing is deleted, and it can be undone from the dashboard. - /invite-import and /invite-config.

Rewards

Members → Invite tracker → Rewards: at 5 invites → @Recruiter, at 10 → @Ambassador. Reaching several gives each. Turn on Take the role back below the count to remove a reward when someone drops below it (after fakes, leaves or a reset); Vaqun only takes back roles it gave. Roles above Vaqun's highest role can't be given: the dashboard shows them greyed out.

Logs and messages

The join log says who joined, who invited them, through which invite, the inviter's new count, the account's age and any flag (fake, came back, vanity, unknown). The leave log says who left and who had invited them. Bonuses, resets and reward roles go to your server logs (Logs → Server logs → Invites).

Your welcome message can use {inviter}, {inviter_invites} and {invite_code} (they say "unknown" when Vaqun can't tell).

Free and Premium

Free: everything above, with up to 3 reward roles and the last 30 days of analytics.

Premium for the server adds up to 15 reward roles, analytics over the whole history with campaigns (joins grouped by invite name), CSV export, your own design for the join and leave logs, and spike alerts (a message to your staff when one invite or one person brings many members, or many fakes, at once). If Premium ends, everything stays saved and the first 3 rewards keep working.
